Dupata Lehar/Movement


Now a days, mostly Sikh girls (in cities) wear jeans, capries, shorts, skirts, etc that's why they don't cover their head with dupatas. Whenever they come to Gurduwara Sahib their heads are not covered with dupatas. These girls use patkaas to cover their head but the lower body parts are not covered. Nudity in Gurduwara Sahib is disrespect of Guru as well as of Gurduwara Sahib. So we have started this "Dupata Lehar". In this lehar we are keeping dupatas in Gurduwara Sahibs all over the world. We are not against any type of dress, we are just against the disrespect of our Guru.
 
Dupata Lehar was started on 18th Oct, 2010 from Gurduwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib, Ludhiana. From that day we are receiving a very positive and motivating response from Sangat of many regions. And we had covered almost 20 Gurduwaras in Punjab. Now we are looking beyond the Punjab.

Dupata lehar is not limited to any region, we aimed at all Gurduwaras around the World. So we need your support and help for the success of this lehar.

The main motive of Dupata Lehar is to remind the Sikh girls about our Sikhi Sroop, Culture and Simplicity. We just want to cover the nudity with dupatas. We heartly request every Sikh to Ardas for the success of this lehar/movement.

Panth-Dardi Jaago Sewa


Panth Dardi Jaago Sewa is introduced by taking many things in consideration. Although the main objectives of this service are

Encourage Sikh youths for become a Sabat Surat Sikh

We want to prepare a team of Gursikhs, who can stand against the people who give remarks against Gurbani & break peace among Sikh community (like: 1974, 1984, 5-Dec-2009 Ludhiana Case)

We stands with Sikhs and care for their sentiments for Gurus & Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. We are against every such person who has wrong intention for Sikhs. We will strongly stands against every such person or association who tries to disturb Sikh feelings by giving remarks against Gursikh Rehat Maryada.

Sehaj Path Lehar


Our Motive:

1. Whenever we do recitation of Shri AKHAND Paath, we consider that it could be performed by only granthi singhs , and not by us, even though we have a desire to read SHRI GURU GARNTH SAHIB Ji ourselves. This Lehar has been started to fulfill this desire.

2. To create a desire in those, who still do n’t have such desire to read and understand GURU’s teachings.

Conditions:
Minimum of 15 desirous persons are required to do the Sehaj Path together at a local Gurdwara of their city.

Maximum Time:
15 days

Memento:
A small token of gift as a honor would be given to every person.



Khalsa Students Federation


Khalsa Student's Federation is specially started for the positive/creative development of sikh youth. In colleges the boys and girls are waisting their time and enery in other activities, like movies, gossip, parties, tours etc etc. If we ask them for this then their answer is very usual "Lifestyle is very busy and we don't have spare time", Is it true ? Even many people (sikhs) don't have time for their Guru. The britle truth is that young boys and girls are not utilizing their time, they are just waisting their time and spoiling their future as well as their life. They are consuming drugs so frequently that they become addicted to it. You can find addicted people so easily in colleges and even in our society. Drugs are neither a part of society nor culture. Youngsters think that drugs is a simble of fashion, authority and modernlisation. But it is not true, Drugs are not part of our society, but through media this message is spreading quitly.

By taking all these things in consideration we had started this federation. We want to utilize the enery of youngers in a positive way. The motive of this federation is to unite sikhs and to spread the teaching of Guru Granth Sahib Ji.



Multimedia Parchar


This service is started for those sangat who is living in some areas where gurbani related material like CDs of shabad kirtan, katha vichar etc. is not easily available like Karnataka, M.P. etc. The sangat specially from these states are facing this problem, so we had started this service to help them and to propagate the teachings of Guru Granth Sahib. The requested material is sent to the sangat either free of cost or by payment according to the conditions and their request.
